Attendance rate

What is this?

In a team's Analytics, the Rate per player shows the ratio of confirmed attendance ("Yes") to the events that concern that player. Coaches and admins see the rate for every player; each player also sees My Attendance with their own rate.

Why it matters

  • Not every event concerns every player — someone nominated for only one of three weekly trainings is measured against that one training only.
  • No response is not stored as a status; it is derived from the missing replies — misreading the rate otherwise leads to wrong conclusions about individual players.
  • When an event is set to Coaches & players must decline, a nominated, unanswered event automatically counts as a yes.

How it works

  1. The rate is confirmed attendance divided by the number of events that concern you.
  2. An event concerns you when you are nominated for it (the series' attendee list, or the single occurrence's own list on an override) — or when you responded even though you were not nominated, since team events accept responses from every member.
  3. When a single event has its own attendee list, it counts only for the players on that list. If you are removed from an event, it no longer counts for you — even if you had already responded.
  4. Events you are neither nominated for nor answered never count.
  5. This count of concerning events is shown next to the rate — the Events column in the table, the line under the name in the app, and the tile in My Attendance. It differs from player to player: two players can both be at 100%, one with 1 event, the other with 15.
  6. No response is not a stored status; it is the difference between concerning events and your responses.
  7. With Coaches & players must decline, a nominated, unanswered event counts as Yes. With Coaches & players must confirm, it counts as No response.
  8. Cancelled events never count. Trainings, games, and other events all count the same way.
  9. Filtering by a single series (instead of All events) lists only that series' attendees, and the rate follows the same rule — nominated or answered — scoped to that series' events.
  10. Choosing All games counts games only. The rate follows the same rule — nominated or answered — scoped to games.

FAQ

Why is my rate lower than I expected? Check which events you were actually nominated for. Events you were neither nominated for nor answered do not count as missed — they do not count at all.

Does responding to an event I wasn't nominated for count? Yes. If you answer anyway, the event counts toward your rate, since team events accept responses from every member. Exception: when the event has its own attendee list and you are not on it, your response does not count.

I was removed from an event after I had already responded. Does it still count? No. The event no longer counts for you, and your response does not feed into the rate. If the coach adds you back to the event, both count again.

Why do I see different numbers with a series filter than with All events? The filter only lists that series' attendees and scopes the rate to that series' events — the calculation rule itself stays the same.
